From Create Your Own Story
You decide to find out what is making that glow, stumbling in the dark to your window. Once there, you open the blinds revealing your neighborhood. You lived in a small town named Yankee Creek Village, a nice quiet town with friendly occupants. The town was West to a creek, across from which was a large forest, then a mountain with the Power Station, ran by a corporation known as GEPS (the Global Empowerment Society), that powered the whole region behind it. To the East was Braxton City, where most people worked. It was a crowded place filled with Skyscrapers that touched the sky. At night, the city usually produced enough light to be seen from your house, a good 30 miles away. But as you looked, their lights were off too. The light appeared to come from behind the mountain, a red fog that produced a eerie glow. As you watched, the fog seemed to snake down the mountain at a constant speed. You found yourself mesmerized by this, until another clatter downstairs snapped you out of it. You were pretty sure now, something was not right. The Neighborhood was silent, no sign of your neighbors waking up and seeing this themselves.
