You dismount the fence with a double back salto, a move that you have practiced many times to dismount the balance beam in your gymnastics days. Landing elegantly on your booted feet, you take off running. The machine gun opens up on you, but misses. In a few seconds you are out of their line of fire.
Looks like you're going to have to find another way out of the country. You hurry back to your parked Jeep.
