You attempt to free your magician, but it's impossible. As he dies, he says, "You know what you've got to do", then he takes another breath and says "Cheese", or something similar...
You feel a presence behind you and slice at the ghost. You slash him, but he takes the Vorpal Blade with him. You run to the weapon room with the being following. You pull out the Caladbolg and slice it up. Taking the Vorpal Blade back, you notice the being was carrying a book. You pick up the Demon Book and from its pages you learn that he was merely a demon with the name "Ghostly," who often resides within another demon's body, only coming out when its host dies.
The book tells you how to kill the demons. The book was apparently meant a guide for demons, so they would know what they should avoid. It's up to you now to kill the source of the demons. So then...
