You take a deep breath. "Would you like to have dinner with me tonight?"
Annabelle gives you a warm smile. The kind of smile that makes your heart melt and your brain think that everything's going to be okay. "Sure. I'd love to. We'll go in my car. I know just the place."
You feel a victorious rush flow through you. As soon as the nurse's back is turned, you pump your fist in triumph.
Ana drives you to an expensive French restaurant. As she parks and the two of you head for the entrance, you notice that there is quite a long line of people waiting for tables. You ask the host how long the wait will be. "45 minutes," he replies.
You look at Annabelle and try to decide what to do or say next.
