You give Kim a smile and head out.
When you walk her home the next day (just the two of you, as you don't want to be around any of the other jerks -- you both hate the world, after all), you hold her hand and stay silent. Kim seems to like the silence.
You get to her home, and her mother greets you with a surprised look on her face. "I was starting to wonder if there were actually other students at Kim's school," she says with a giggle. "This is the first time I've seen evidence of one."
You chuckle as Kim introduces you. "My husband will be home in a couple of hours," she informs you. "I'll be in the kitchen getting dinner ready. Go on, do your thing."
Kim takes you up to her room. After you finish the studying and homework part of the day, you look at her. "So, what do you do to entertain yourself?"
Kim laughs and points to a large pile of board games. "I play against myself."
"Shall we play one?" you ask. Kim nods.
