The (BWE Championship) is a Backyard Wrestling world heavyweight championship in Backyard Wrestling Entertainment. It is the first world title in BWE established in 2009. The championship is generally contested in professional wrestling matches, in which participants usually execute scripted finishes rather than contend in direct competition. Some reigns were held by champions using a ring name, while others used their real name. The first champion was Stone Hardy, who won the championship in 2009. Overall, there have been 3 different official champions.

Title History
Origin
The BWE Championship was introduced in 2009 with Stone Hardy becoming the first champion. The Championship was held up in a 6-Man tournament which took place on the first couple episodes of BWE After Shock. The title was crown at BWE: Raising The Bar where Steven Hardy seemed to have the match under control until the New Blood of Backyard Wrestling interfered in the match and allowed Stone Hardy to pick up the win and become the first ever champion.
Real World Entertainment
2011-Present
In 2011, Real World Entertainment became the controller of the Backyard Wrestling Entertainment creator team. Their first order of business was to shut BWE down for a while to reboot the federation with frash storylines. Real World Entertainment choose not to vacate any BWE Championship that were not already vacated.
