The XBW Championship was a backyard wrestling primary championship in XBW Wrestling (XBW). It is recognized for being the highest-ranked title in the federation and referenced as the XBW World Heavyweight Championship in the reigns of Nemesis, and also referenced as "world" to commemorate him. In 1999, the championship was introduced and worn be pre-existing champion, Nemesis into the inception of the initial season. In season 2, the title was placed in a special 24/7 ruling which switched hands multiple times between Deathwarrent, Ryan Stevens, Psycho, and Chris Phoenix. In storyline, Total Wrestling Federation Xtreme star Spardis invaded XBW in a trip from Minnesota and once usurped the XBW Title in season 3, and in season 4 when he reemerged again, made history by becoming the first and only outsider to win the title. Before attempting to relocate it back to TWFX, Reaper cashed in his Nemesis Memorial Cup Battle Royal opportunity to dispossess him of it. Josh Dreamer is also noted as the only lightweight uprising wrestler to ever hold the belt. Title reigns are determined by backyard wrestling matches with wrestlers involved in pre-existed scripted feuds, plots and storylines and tended to be won by predominantly XBW Originals with mostly tension-building storylines that culminate to a supercard. All championship reigns were held by wrestlers with ring names. The championship has crowned 12 different champions since its iteration as the current champion is Deathwarrent, who is in his sixth reign. Deathwarrent also holds the record for having the most reigns as champion, while Ryan Stevens holds the shortest and longest reign, which he defended the title for an unrivalled record of 7 times.
