Page had his debut on September 7, 2008, defeating Jobber Jacobson.
HomeGrown Elite Wrestling
Page moved on to HGEW and formed the Alex Page character, a cocky heel. Page had a series of matches with President Payne which are considered the greatest feud in HGEW history. Those matches put Page on the map as one the company's top performers. Page then went on to face Zack Arius, defeating him in what has been dubbed 'The Greatest Scottish Backyard Wrestling Match Ever' to become the HGEW World Heavyweight Champion. Page held the belt until HGEW folded.
