UYW Battle for the Belt

UYW Battle for the Belt was a 2008 backyard wrestling supershow event produced by Unbelievable Youth Wrestling (UYW). The show was originally scheduled to take place on November 30, 2008 but due to weather conditions it was post-poned to December 12, 2008 in Buffalo, New York.

The main event was a UYW Championship match between ETTW's Matt Demorest and UYW's Twist, a rivalry that had brewed for months with Twist underestimating Matt Demorest and his abilities, which led to back-and-forth promo videos being broadcasted online to in attempt to mutually ridiculize and imitate one another. Twist would pitch the challenge to Demorest to face him, defending his championship.
