The SCBYWA, or the South Carolina BackYard Wrestling Alliance, is a governing body for ALL backyard wrestling in the state of South Carolina. The SCBYWA was established in February 2008. There are 18 feds under the SCBYWA banner. The feds are classified as one or more of the following classifications: Active, Legacy, Little League, or Inactive. The top feds under this banner are BCW, UWO, TNG, and AZW. In addition to being a governing body, the SCBYWA also sanctions championship titles of its own. The SCBYWA Heavyweight Championship, SCBYWA Tag Team Championship, and SCBYWA Internet Championship. Bi-yearly, SCBYWA holds super shows featuring yarders from all of its feds under one roof. These two shows are entitled SCBYWA WrestleFest and SCBYWA Blaze of Glory.
