The Calling debuted on September 27, 2009 after the main event at No Remorse. During a promo earlier in the night, Icon told fans that "the calling is coming." After defeating Pauly Richards, and capturing the BST Heavyweight Title, Icon called Havoc to the ring and proceeded to destroy Pauly.
The Calling went on to destroy the competition in BST. In the second round of the Destiny tournament Jack Havoc faced off against his tag tema partner The Icon. Icon showed disrespect to Havoc by rejecting his hand shake.
