HGEW were set up in 2008 as a way of bringing together Scottish wrestlers to one big federation. Seeing as there is only one federation in Scotland, it was there duty to rally up as many people as possible. HGEW was initially a trampoline federation, but after location issues, they were forced to become a park federation, after more issues, HGEW shut down in early 2010. HGEW then secretly spent 3 months constructing a ring while maintaining the image that HGEW was dead. HGEW then returned in 2010.
