Like THW's supercards from 2006 - 2008, he decided to name any NBYWA event from then onward with numbers, making it "THW 22/NBYWA 1". The event's original name was "One Last Time", as it was supposed to be a full-fledged THW reunion with wrestlers of other feds participating as well, but as time went on and more THW alumni respectfully declined the offer, it was renamed "The End", symbolizing that it was going to be THW's last event period, then after a while the name was finally settled on "A New Beginning", symbolizing that THW's end would be coming as it passes the torch to NBYWA. On May 28, 2010, it was announced that there will be a brand new NBYWA World Heavyweight Championship belt presented at the beginning of the first show.
