The Twins are a backyard wresting tag team made up of Rick and Bret. They wrestled in Bridgeview Wrestling Association and currently in Just Backyard Wrestling, Northern Illinois Wrestling Alliance, and Midwest Wrestling Alliance.
History
Rick and Bret began tagging together when they started yarding in 2006. At that time they only wrestled for their own fed, BRAWL, and their step-brother's fed, TCW. At that time they went under the name The Code Monkeys. In 2009 the team broke up when they signed with the much larger fed BST. While in BST Rick took the name Pauly Richards and went on to become one of the top singles wrestlers in the fed, he even won the BST Heavyweight Championship. Bret would become Jack Havoc and quickly won the BST Intercontinental Championship, for a short time he teamed with The Icon as a part of The Calling; and David Sinn and Papa Josh as part of the Sinn City Society.
The two reunited two times in 2010. First was at BWA: Supercard of Destiny where they lost to the team of Calvin Storm and CJ Smith. The second was at JBYW: BYW > Jesus' Birthday. There they defeated General Joe and Jason Witzel, Team Awesome. The Twins teamed up at the midwest supershow CCW: Burn this City. Day 1 they lost a tough match against UnderRated, from Kentucky, when Max Vender made Rick tap out to the Lion Tamer. Day 2 the brothers bounced back defeating HWC's 13 Views. Bret scored the pinfall after the two hit their tag team finisher Never Say Never. Finally in the main event the two participated in the main event as part of The JOB Squad 2.0 along with Mike Wonder, Chongo, and AO. The five took on the powerhouse faction known as the The -\wakening. Rick was eliminated by Shooter after taking a Barry White Driver/Lariat from Shooter and Devin Bliss. Bret ended up eliminating the leader of the -\wakening, Focalin, with a backslide pin. But was pinned by Sic Ric after a Hatchet Driver II.
Rick and Bret are two of the original members of The Prototype's Midwest Wrestling Alliance. Currently they are feuding with The Prototype's group called the UnKnown, consisting of The Prototype and Team Awesome, over the MWA Tag Team Championships.
