- Eureka seveN Ep. 32 - I must admit, this show really knows when to kick it up a notch. And with Ep. 32, it did just that. After a few episodes of character (and the Nirvash) building, it exploded again. This time, our friend Anemone squeezes back into the picture...and in the process gets a welcome-back gift in the form of an ass whooping, courtesy of the Nirvash typeZERO Spec2 (yes, it's Spec2 people). She didn't even have a fighting chance, and got bombed in a couple of minutes - well 1:30 (the length of DAYS, the song that played during that sequence). Too bad she got fuckeded up at a bad time, and now she might pay for it because of those stupid ass fucking kids. As for the man himself, Dewey, he trying to fuck the planet over more and in the process to kill us all. And for what? Only time will tell. But overall, a great episode.
- Bleach Ep. 13 - Who knew that Orihime actually did something good for once? Who knew that Orihime had that kind of power? Who knew that this shit is gonna get better? Now this is what I'm talking about. It's starting to pick up, and it did at the right time. Of course, it's still open season for hallows, and still Ichigo and Ishida are still have their little own hunt-a-thon. But now, everyone is being thrown into the mix, including Orihime who somehow used those pins to summon a bunch of small people to protect her. I wish I had something like that...or maybe not because I don't have pins to hold my hair back because I'M A GUY. But anyways, it feels like Bleach is getting into gear.
- Anemone = Ohio State? - Seriously. What does a crazy chick from Eureka seveN and a college football team have in common? Well, so far they've dominated the competition. For sweet Anemone, she's dominated the most recent [as] Grand Character Elimination, winning in a huge landslide. For Ohio State, they've beaten everyone else - except for Florida, who they will play in the National Championship game January 8th in Glendale, AZ. They are also fan favorites among anime fans and college football fans, respectively. And finally...well I can't think of anything else. But congrats to Anemone, because she's on top right now.
- The Fix - Props to [as] for fucked up the Fix, then having the balls to leave it broken all Friday. You know, I wanted to watch Eureka seveN Friday, but no - Part 3 was all **bleep**ed up, and then the whole Fix crashed except for two shows. What gives [as]? Everything was working a week ago. Maybe it's one of those glitches that will be fixed over the week. But given the track record of this "beta" Fix so far, let's hope that they get down the final version soon.
12/10
- Eureka seveN Ep. 33 - Well, about fucking time Holland really showed up after trying to show himself up. At least I give him props for really realizing his mistakes, and his willingness to start over. Compared to the Holland before (like Ep. 20), he's really evolved, even if he is one of the last characters to really show that next step in his character development. By the way, did anyone guess that the GekkoState WOULDN'T disband after he wanted to? There's 50 episodes, so it was really logical to think that they would of stuck it out...however, you never know; they could of really disbanned for a few episodes but then came back. And finally, that "Pacific State" photo that Stoner is developing. I'm guessing that it really fit with the episode title, but either than that, is there any reason why he called it "Pacific State?"
- Bleach Ep. 14 - Meh, just more Ichigo/Ishida fighting, arguing, finding each other, and all that other stuff that happened that episode. At least things got interesting when 1) the Green-hat squad showed up and 2) when Ichigo released all his energy; that was some intense shit. Either than that, it's getting good, but I'm still waiting for the good stuff.
- Eureka seveN Movie - If you haven't read about it on another message board somewhere on the internet, and you're a Eureka seveN fan, then odds are you've come across this rumor that a E7 movie is in the works. There is also a hidden Ep. 51 (although the one done at the Sony Anime Music Festival really doesn't count) and that they're supposed to go off of that. Personally, I feel that a movie is unreasonable. The reason why? There was a proper ending. It's not like the FMA movie, where at the end of FMA there were a ton of plothole questions. With the E7 endning, most of the plothole questions are closed up, leaving a movie only to find out where everyone is. In that case, a 10-15 (or 30) minute OVA documenting all the characters after the series.
- Linksys - Fuck you Linksys. You give me a piece of shit wireless router that I have to fucking configure a million fucking times just so that I can get it right. I'm lucky that the DSL modem I have has wireless on it, or else I won't be typing this up (on my laptop at least). I may go back to it, but after I can set it up all by myself and I don't have to go call India or the Philippines or wherever they fucking have call centers. *sigh*
12/17
- Bleach Ep. 15 - Let me get this off first, since this is way shorter than the other review. This episode is kind of a "Kon coming out" episode, basically him trying to get out in the world - and failing in the process. Either than that, it's nothing else then a gap between what's been going on and what's happening next, because someone's coming after Rukia. If she needed advice, it would be one thing: RUN BITCH RUN!!!
- Eureka seveN Ep. 34 - Now this was mighty interesting. Where should I really start at? Let me start with Talho's "dropping the pregnancy bomb" on Holland. Now, I think we're all wondering this: when in the series did it happen? You never know, it could of been before the series even started, so it could of been anytime...but seriously though, it's one of those moments that somehow work into the overall plot is what makes Eureka seveN distant from all other "mecha" anime. It was also nifty to hear more of Holland's background in the SOF, and his first encounter with Norb. (For the record, it should be Norbu, not Norb. Get it right you dumb fucks [directed towards Bandai].) I said awhile back that I wanted to know how far Eureka and Holland go back, and so far the picture is coming clearer. And now, everything is coming together. But somehow, they throw more curveballs at you, meaning that not everything is still not revealed...and with 15 episodes to go, there's still a ton out there to be discovered.
- Holiday schedule - With the holidays coming up, I really don't know why [as] is turning to a "holiday schedule." Then again, it's nice to see something else because all the other channels have a "holiday schedule." So what is on in the next two weeks? Well, Dec. 23rd is a triple InuYasha movie marathon. I forgot what movies they are airing, but hey it's InuYasha, and unlike the series the movie ACTUALLY ENDS. The week after that, Dec. 30th, is a Bleach marathon covering the first 15 episodes (including the one just aired). Now, I don't know if they will air Ep. 16 that weekend, so I will update you next week.
- E7 in '07 - Now, with the "holiday schedule," you could of guessed that Ep. 34 was the last episode in the year 2006. So, what to expect in 2007 starting with Ep. 35? Now, we know for one that they are attempting to invade the capitol to "rescue" Norb, so at least the first episode in 2007 will come out with the bang. I mentioned in the Ep. 34 review that they throw more curveballs at you - and it's true, they will. There's a lot more to be said than done, and I'm guessing you all have questions going into Ep. 35. Who's this mysterious girl Norb mentioned in the episode? What is really the "Great Wall?" Why do they need to break through it? What does this all have to do with Dewey's plan? How do certain characters fit in, like Renton, Holland, Anemone, Dominic, and everyone else? See, there's more to it...so, expect something great in 2007.
12/24 (Christmas Eve Special)
- IY Marahton - You know what? I'll be honest here: I didn't watch the the 3 IY movies [as] aired last Saturday. However, I do have them recorded on DVR, so whenever I get free time I'll go watch the movies. Until then, there isn't a review for the 3 IY movies that aired.
- Bleach in '07 - Last week, we previewed what would happen when Eureka seveN came back in January after the holidays have passed. This week, it's time to look at the other big asset of [as] - Bleach - and it's future in 2007. For one, Ep. 16 marks the start of the "Soul Society" arc, an arc that many consider to be the point where everything starts kicking **bleep** left and right. My question though is this: how much does [as] have chalked up? I hope that they got enough to get through the SS arc, because if you take a break during the arc like what happened to FMA a few years back, then [as] will get some very angry messages from the fans. But for now, sit back and enjoy the ride.
- Christmas Shout-Outs - Since I don't have nothing much else to say, I'll end the night with some Christmas shout-outs. The first goes to my family, who've taken care of me and loved me for 18+ years and for also teaching me the values of "Family First;" the second goes out to the one I love the most in my life. I cherish her bar none. We hope to be together for basically forever. And finally, to everyone to has read my column week after week after week - thanks for your time and committment. I like to also add a thanks to everyone who voted for me in the AD Regulars Elimination; with the 2nd round starting after Christmas, it's time for us to go back to work and to keep on voting for me. Thanks, and keep on going in life!
January 2007
1/1 (New Years Day Special)
- IY Movie #4: Fire On Mystic Island - So, I finally got around to watching the 4th IY movie on Friday after recording it the Saturday before - you know, when they actually played the marathon. And I thought the movie played out pretty well, especially with the whole entire "ZOMG, I got my butt kicked by these 4 wargods, and now I'm back to kick their butts." In fact, I was on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what would happen next. It did suprise me - or maybe it didn't - when all four of them got together for one last reunion tour before being sliced and diced by InuYasha and Kagome. Now the funny thing is that they were all getting their butts kicked in that final scene, but the fireflies had to come in and change everything - and I knew once they got in the way that the final battle would be over pretty quickly - and I was right. But overall, it was an alright movie. And like I keep saying, at least it had a ending.
- The New Year - Well, it's 2007 now. 2006 is done for, and now I look forward to a new year full of suprises, adventures, and more Burning. I started the Burning column back in May 2006, so I have a long way to go before I reach one year of Burning. But at least I'm near halfway there. Either than that, it's 2007. That's all I can say for now.
- Bleach and E7 - And after two weeks of holiday programming, we can finally throw away the Christmas tree and party favors and get back to what we've been waiting for - the return of Bleach and Eureka seveN. For Bleach, it's the start of the highly-praised Soul Society arc; for Eureka seveN, it's off to the capitol to retrieve Norbu (I will keep calling him Norbu and not Norb, for the record) and to have some drama that we expect from E7. Everyone's been anxious for the return, and soon enough we can get back to actually talking about real [as] Saturdays. Oh yeah, Trinity Blood comes back too as well, but then again I've lost track of TB, and I'm sticking to my not caring of TB.
1/7
- Bleach Ep. 16 - Shit, I was supposed to watch Bleach this weekend, but I had family over at the house and I missed both airings of Bleach. However, I do have a bleak idea of what's going on, and as long as I know what's going on, then I can miss one episode.
- Eureka seveN Ep. 35 - But as always, I always bring it up the rear with Eureka seveN. This week...well, too much happened. For starters, Holland and Dewey are brothers. And yes, Dewey did go out with Talho (although we don't know how far they went), dumped her, then Holland took the sloppy seconds. No wait...ah whatever. But now the plotline - both the past, present, and future - are coming together, and if you can't see what's in front of you, then you better check yourself. I wasn't really suprised about Renton and Eureka really not fighting...at this point, Renton just wants to protect Eureka as much as he can. And what about Dewey? He thought he was blasting on Holland's failures, then Holland comes back with a "I got the Nirvash and a partner, beat that!" And finally, Anemone...someday we'll all be dead. Just ask Ichigo.
- Sac Anime - January 13th and 14th marks the first Sac Anime, a local anime convention in Sacramento, California, in 2007. And as usual, I'll be there. This means that there might not be a Bleach Ep. 17 review, but I will definately bring a Eureka seveN Ep. 36 review since I watch the Fix. I'm really excited because Spike Spencer, the VA for Shinji Ikari in Evangelion, is a guest for this convention. So I'll be getting my Eva Box Set signed, and I'll also be giving a report next week.
1/14
- Bleach Ep. 17 - Shit again. Since I spent the majority of the weekend at an anime convention and sleeping in between the two days, I didn't get a chance to watch the [as] block at all. Not even Bleach. However, I do have some sort of idea of what happened - something about Ichigo dying, then coming back and wanting to train to get better. As long I can understand most of it without watching the two episodes and they haven't jumped to the "Soul Society," I'm good for now. At least I will be able to watch Ep. 18 this Saturday...
- Eureka seveN Ep. 36 - I always find a way to make a review for Eureka seveN because I always catch it on the Fix when it first shows up. For the most part in this episode, the action takes a break and allows the show to catch up on some plotlines, and to have some fun in the process - if you count Eureka's makeup malfunction, but we'll get to that later. At least we know now how Diane looks, and now we know that Diane and Holland did date in the past. No wonder Talho was in major distress Ep. 27 when she found out Renton was the only compatable blood donor - she had some major jealousy over her. With this insight into the past, more pieces come into place but at the same time comes more questions, and I think we all know those ones. Now on to Eureka, who did look like something out of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. First off, you do realize that Renton likes you no matter what you look like? Come on, he finally said it - he loves you. But we all know that she's blank as a empty diary, but hell it's a start. And finally, Dewey - what do you have up your sleeves?
- Sac Anime 2007, January 13th-14th - This the major reason why I missed all of [as], football playoffs, and everything else. The first major anime convention in California this year - take that Fanime and Anime Expo! Anyways, I thought the two days were great! The dealers room was kicking well, the console gaming room was a success, and everything else fell into place! The cosplay contest was very special, because it was the last convention that Francine, one of the coordinators for the convention, was "resigning" from her duty. Of course, she's coming back to help out, but she's not "in charge" anymore. We all did our own tributes, and had some fun singing random songs for no apparent reason...oh wait, we were waiting for the judges. The after-hours rave was alright, although it could of use some Glade, and Anime Bingo was very enjoying, even if it was sponsored by Yaoi-Con. Hell, I even won a poster of a half-naked guy and sold to a fangirl for 15 dollars. Sunday wasn't as big as Saturday, but at least I got to meet Spice Spencer...you know, Evangelion, Full Metal Panic, Golden Boy, and so fouth. I also entered into a DDR tourney, although I was out after playing though 3 rounds of a double elimination. I can't wait for the next Sac Anime, which will be in July. (Note, if you want to see photos, click here (http://www.teammisaki.org/Sac-Anime07Jan/index.html). Props to BART Boy for taking all these nice pictures!)
- AD Regulars Elimination - All you need to know that EdSpikeSesshyGirl won!!! Congrats to her!!! And shout-outs to everyone who voted for me. Let's make a better run next year!
1/21
- Bleach Ep. 18 - You know, with me in South Lake Tahoe for the weekend (and I'll have more on that trip later), I thought I wouldn't have the chance to see both Eureka seveN AND Bleach (since I didn't see E7 on the Fix on Friday), but low and behold, I am here writing this for both shows. As for Bleach itself, it was one of those "OK, what does this have to do with the overall plot" episodes, because even though it did bring up some hints in the plotline, nothing much really happened except for Ichigo finding himself in training (Who didn't see that coming?) in order to save Rukia, who is about to end up like Saddam Hussein. The burning question remains: will he make it out of the hole? ZOMG DRAMA!!!
- Eureka seveN Ep. 37 - This was a pretty interesting episode. For one, it was nice to see one huge debate over what the fuck is going on in this world. In this corner is science and in the other corner is religion. And like in the real world, they always disagree on something. Now what slipped my mind was everything involving "planes." When I thought of "planes," I thought something like in mathematics...damn that's a lot of planes they're talking about. What really pissed me off was not that, but over that motherfucker named Dewey Novak. Is it me, or is he becoming more and more of an asshole week in and week out? Now, he's fucking lying to the public over something that he started. Then again, the masses will believe in anything the government throws at them. And finally, Anemone came back, in her "No wonder I'm called the Goddess of War" form. But the lesson here is that we all hate Dewey, and we all want to kill his ass ASAP.
- South Lake Tahoe - Well, I was in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, California from last Thursday to today, Sunday. I was hoping it would snow, but damnit it didn't snow. But, this was the first time being in S. Lake Tahoe and Stateline, Nevada. In fact, I was as close to the slots that I could be without breaking Nevada state law. Then again, I do have 2 1/2 years until that magical age in which I can blow my money at the casinos, so I have a long way to go. Overall, I enjoyed my time near the lake, and I hope to come back soon.
1/28
- Bleach Ep. 19 - So, anyways part two of Ichigo's training, which involves a hole, a chain, and a 72-hour lifespan in which he has to get out of the hole before they kill him off. Obviously, there's more episodes, so we all can assume that he's going to get out of the hole, as a Soul Reaper, alive. And at the end of the episode, he does. Whoopy-freakin'-do. At this point, we expect Ichigo's training to complete, and he can go off and rescue Saddam...errr I meant Rukia. But homeboy has another challenge - knock off his hat. Easier said than done. Look for a interesting battle next episode.
- Eureka seveN Ep. 38 - They should of named the first part of the episode "Ill Communication Part II" and the second part of the episode "Date of Birth," because really in the first half of the episode there was a whole lot of miscommunication between the Gekko crew. It was a chain reaction which lead to one pissed Holland, 3 beat up people, and a whole lot of confusion. Then again, it was all a happy ending at the end of the episode, which made even Norb smile. Then there was Stoner, who was getting stoned, thinking about his next move while all of this was going on. The best way - use that mag called "Ray-out" to try to convey the truth, even though that **bleep** Dewey already sent the masses into panic, causing everyone to sway to his side. Speaking of that **bleep** Dewey, now he's gone off and killed off 2 of the 3 Sages and making the last one "submit" to his "power." Looks like that move he made on her awhile back a) saved her life and b) there is no b. The point is, he's on a rampage and on top of the world. Next stop: the world itself.
- New Action? - A ton of rumors have swirled over [as] new action aquisition. Signs point positive to Blood+, a relative to the hit Blood: The Last Vampire. Others say that it's Witchblade or Ergo Proxy. My money, which everything I've seen, is on Blood+. My personal pick would be Ergo Proxy, or the really really really really really really really really long shot, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Because she demands it!
February 2007
2/4
- Super Bowl XLI - Before I get to the reviews, I wanted to recap something called Super Bowl XLI. Apparently, there was some huge game that featured the Colts and Bears for some NFL Championship. Anyways, I thought the Colts were in trouble when the opening kickoff was returned back for a TD by David Hester, but to my suprise the game was close throughout. The running game of the Colts was very effective, tiring out the Bears defense because they've never seen a no-huddle offense. And again, Rex Grossman saves the day by throwing a few INTs and fumbling the snap exchange. All and all, it was a ugly game (uglier because of the rain), but the Colts prevailed 29-17 over the Bears in Super Bowl XLI. Archie's boy...I mean Peyton Manning won the MVP, but many will tell you it should of went to those two Colts tailbacks.
- Bleach Ep. 20 - Alright, it's time to go to the Soul Society! After days and days and days and days and days and days of training, Ichigo finally got his mojo back, and in the process got some wicked sword, which will probably come in handy. He also knocked off Urahara's hat, bonus points to Ichigo. Either than that, we got to see Ichigo, Chad, Orihime, and Ishida jump into the portal that connects our world to the Soudl Society. Remember how I said "Wake me up when they reach the Soul Society?" Well, will someone please wake me up? It's gonna get good.
- Eureka seveN Ep. 39 - Football! The international variety! Yes, there's an episode that features the GekkoState playing a game of soccer? And for what? (I'll get back to that later.) For an episode that displays itself as filler, I really don't think this was a "filler" episode. Because for one, everyone learned something from playing a game of soccer. For Renton, it was finally passing the rock (Remember, he had no one else to pass it to, but is it really that hard to just pass the ball?). For Eureka, it was trusting Renton - and learning how to pwn Holland in the face. And for Holland, it was learning that actually listening to Norb was a good thing - and how to overcome Renton and Eureka pwning you in the face. Then again, as Norb put it, "At least you had fun, right?" Oh yeah, there's Dewey, but he was at his bastardness again and he only appeared in the final minute.
- [AS] Boston Scare - For me, I didn't even learn about this until I had checked my Yahoo! Mail and saw one of the headlines, which I then read and went "You gotta be kidding me!" But AP wasn't - most of Boston was shut down after receiving numerous phonecalls detailing of suspecious packages across the city. And whenver you get one of those, you take every single measure, including blowing the thing up. But when they found out they weren't bombs, but instead LEDs of the Moonities from ATHF giving the digital finger, the city of Boston (and it's mayor) got very pissed. Hell, they even arrested two people in connection of the planting of the flashing Moonities; which, BTW, if you haven't seen their press conference, you need to see it - it's pure comedy gold. At first, I was like "They overreacted." But then again, in this post 9/11 world where mostly anything can be a bomb, we have to be smarter in determining what's harmful from harmless. It's a good advertising gimmick on paper, but the execution didn't work out pretty well. However, they were up there for about two weeks - and all the other cities knew it was a hoax straight from the beginning. Overall, it was good advertising gone wrong, and someone's gonna pay.
2/11
- Bleach Ep. 21 - So finally, after 21 long episodes, they finally reach the Soul Society, but not after some drama involving that fucking tunnel. Anyways, all this episode consisted of was Ichigo manhandling the Gate Keeper, Jidanbo, for about most of the episode. It also shows that Ichigo is becoming one badass motherfucking Soul Reaper. But on the other hand, there's Gin Ichimaru, who's also a badass motherfucking Captain of Squad (I still like Division though) 3. And when two bad-ass motherfuckers meet, you know good things are going happen. They finally reached the Soul Society, and we can now get this party started...after they save Rukia from execution.
- Eureka seveN Ep. 40 - With Sakura and Canvas replacing Taiyou no Mannaka he and Tip Taps Tip, Eureka seveN has reached the home stretch. As of the end of Ep. 40, only 10 episodes remain. But oddly, there are still a ton of plot-driven questions that have been unanswered, like: Who exactly is Sakuya? How are Norb and Sakuya related? What does all of this have to do with Renton and Eureka getting over the wall? (Although the last question has been answered to some degree) You would think that with so many few episodes are left, you think you'd have a clear sense of the plotline. Yet there are still holes big enough to throw curveballs at. But overall, a nice introduction to the final chapter of the series, full of inflitrations, packing heat, and one man who's pissed over a bath.
- Sakura and Canvas - And with Ep. 40 airing, a new opening and ending have entered the picture - Sakura by NIRGILIS, and Canvas by COOLON. Now, you would think that they would air the full openings, but again we are stuck with the short 30 second versions. For Sakura, there are some shots that walk into spoiler territory, plus some nudie shots of the "naughty book," that were removed from the short cut. But what I have a problem with the short cut is where they started the song; it doesn't include the first part, the "Amazing Grace" part that really makes Sakura what it is. Without it, it sounds like another hot J-Pop song. At least they ended it like the way it ends in the full TV opening, but does it really need that box squeeze under the E7 logo? For Canvas, I thought the cut was better than Sakura, altough they should of ended it like the full TV ending, with the final slideshow shot of Eureka holding one of her kids, both covered in blood. That would also mean not fading the song, but ending it the same way. Overall, an ok job by the boys at Bandai, but at least the DVDs always have the full intros and endings.
- Cosplay in '07 - I'm supposed to get an e-mail/phone call on my cosplay commission that I'm supposed to get heard back this month. I hope that 2007 I can actually get a real costume and not something that was dug through the closet and saying "Hey, I'm cosplaying!" What I submitted was Holland's SOF uniform from Eureka seveN, but I don't plan to cosplay as Holland. I'll probably be cosplaying as a SOF sniper, since I have a knack for loving to be a sniper. I already have something that looks like a SR-25 sniper rifle, and I also have a M4A1 and a H&K USP. All of these are spring-loaded, because these are just for cosplaying and not for actual airsofting. Why would I blow $100+ on a rifle that is gas/eletric that I won't use out in the field? So, for now, I wait and see for that callback...
2/18
- Bleach Ep. 22 - There's a good reason why I didn't watch Bleach this weekend. All I know is a) the ideal Gin-Ichigo fight only happened for about 10 seconds and b) I missed a whole lot of shit. But you will find out why I did.
- Eureka seveN Ep. 41 - They don't call it "Acperience (insert number here)" for nothing. But unlike the last two "Acperience" episodes (Ep. 12 [#1] and Ep. 19 [#2]), it's not that trippy as you think. But still, at least it's trippy because you get to see the journey of going through the Great Wall - and what happens if you don't make it. Such the case for Norb and Sakuya, who where "forced" to cross the Great Wall. The result? One dude with a compac drive embedded in his chest and a chick who turned into a flower - a lotus flower, to be exact. Either than that, I say that they did a really good job with Sakuya's VA - like I said, it captured her serious yet bubbly side when Norb broke the walls down. A nice "flashback" episode for those who don't know the process of crossing the Great Wall, and another good set-up episode. Trust me, you'll need all the knowledge of this episode - including the fact the military's coming and Holland & the crew are going to stand put.
- Wheeeeeee with the Wii - So anyways, this is my great excuse for not watching Bleach - I was playing with my Nintendo Wii. Yes, that gaming system that no one can seem to find around these days. Actually, my 'rents got it for a Valentines Day gift, and they got lucky that Target had a boxfull of Wiis. Of course, the Wii owns. It might not have the system horsepower of the 360 and/or the PS3, but it's got something that makes it stand out from the others - the controller. I remember back when they announced the Wii - we were all like "WTF is this?" But it's the next step towards virtual reality. And Nintendo's got experience in motion-sensor department...remember the Power Glove and Duck Hunt? I'm pretty lucky that I have both a PS3 and a Wii. (P.S. I got Zelda, but I'm not far yet - in fact, I haven't done anything like what was in the demo. Gawd, why is the intro so fucking long?)
- [as] Rumor Mill - Recently, [as] announced that (yes) Blood+ will air in March to replace Trinity Blood. I think most of us saw this coming from a mile away. Like I've said before, I'm a fan of the precursor to the series - Blood: The Last Vampire - and odds are I will tuning in come March. Two questions emerge though - will they screw up with Blood+, airing one promo the week before, or will they figured it out and go all-out with promos and stuff? But now that this question is past, now the question comes to What will [as] get in the Fall of '07? I think all those shows that we called for the March new anime (Egro Proxy, Black Lagoon, Haruhi, and so fourth) are all back into the mix. Personally, I'd like to see Egro Proxy and Haruhi, but I got a feeling it's going to be an anime that we've never heard of before...like E7 back in April of '06...

- Bleach Ep. 23 - I when I caught the first 5 minutes of Ep. 23, I realized that I didn't miss much in Ep. 22. But at least I got a chance to continue watching, and in the process meeting some very stacked girls. This week: Kuukaku (which also includes a fake arm and some firepower). Next week: Matsumoto, but I won't get far on her until next week. Other than that, at least they have a way of getting passed the wall - going up. And BTW, I think a lot of us have come to the conclusion that Gin is one evil bastard,
- Eureka seveN Ep. 42 - Wait, what happened in this episode? A whole lot of shit if you ask me. For one, they've went and passed though the Great Wall, and into the "Zone" - which is obviously some form of planet Earth. Now, we don't know much about it, so these next few episodes could give an insight into what the fuck is going on. Also, with Dewey's bastardness, he's able to shoot the Orange and fuck everything up in that area. And I mean, he fucked everything up in that area. Ships, LFOs, people, more people, more people, and more people. Of course, the highlight of the episode was Holland getting manhandled by Anemone - and thinking for 5 minutes that he actually died. Shoot, I thought he was dead, even after he was played around like a doll and then shreaded to pieces like Eva Unit 02 in the End of Evangelion. Speaking of Anemone, get a hold of your life girl!
- E7 Nation - Just recently, a new schedule was announced, which includes the insert of Blood+. What's also inserted into the lineup is another half-hour of comedy (and for the love of god, the Oblongs? I even would of accepted an hour of FG or Futurama/FG spilt) and E7 getting bumped down to 1:00AM. This is a reminder of when the show used to be on at 12:00AM when it first came out, then it moved to 1:30AM, then to 12:30AM, and now it will end at 1:00AM. Personally, this is like a huge "Fuck you" from [as] to the E7 Nation. And I don't take kindly to getting screwed over. What hurts me the most is that the reality is, there is nothing [as] or the E7 Nation can do to bring back ratings. We can support it all we want, but then we have to realize that in order to understand what's going on and who's who, you should of payed attention to the beginning...you know, when Renton jumped on board, and he was being treated like a rookie. Back when these episodes aired, a ton of them were turned off, and never gave the show a second chance. Now, if you want to jump back on board and you just started here, then you better go ask someone or go ask Wikipedia. But at the same time, [as] should of done everything in its power to prevent this. Let's just hope Blood+ doesn't get **bleep**ed up, and all of the other shows that follow - that is, if [as] Action still exists.
