Background
John believes he is the son of the king of France, though experience has taught him not to advertise this fact. He is very proud of his birth and believes the only way he can regain his rightful heritage is to become a great swordsmen, famous enough to gain entrance to the King's court. Consequently his obsessed with his swordsmanship and practices constantly. This makes him an exceptionally good fighter, though he is too proud to be a good soldier.
Description
John is a tall man with fine blond hair and clear blue eyes. His looks however, are marred by a nose broken three or four too many times, and ears that stick out too much. He also has a tendency to walk around with an air of superiority which is rather unattractive. He rarely speaks - those not of noble both are (or should be) beneath his notice and his poor Norman French makes him uncomfortable talking to thsoe of noble birth. He is thus disiked by most of his fellows, though they are wary of his touchy pride, catlike grace, and big sword. His longsword, which he is never without, is his most prized possession, though a fine suit of chainmail is next on his priority list. The armour he does have, a decent hauberk of iron scales, he wears at all times, though often covered with a plain blue tabard.
