Appearance

Ambrosius is of medium height and build, with plain brown hair and brown eyes. Aside from the gift and a few other distinguishing characteristics, he could be any of thousands of Shropshire boys born through out the centuries. His hands are slightly larger than normal and heavily callused. His right had, though fully mobile, was badly scarred and disfigured by a burn in his early smithing days. While not blatantly obvious, most people notice it. He does not attempt to hide the disfigurement in any way, and will often be perplex by people who react superstitiously. He keeps his should length brown hair pulled back and secured with a fine but mundane steel chain of his making. The same type of chain is worn around the top of his work boots to blosed the trouser legs.

Upon completion of a spell, those in proximity fo the effect hear the hiss of red hot iron submerged in cold water along withe the sound of a few pounds of the smith's hammer. More powerful spells may also include a smell.
