History

When the system was renamed 'Griffin' by NASA to bring it into line with the 'Hydra' system, it set the general rule that all further systems that were considered life-supporting were to be named after mythological figures.

Planets in the Griffin System

Aquila

A small planet rendered uninhabitable by its proximity to Griffin. Contains a number of curious blue mineral deposits of unknown origin. Where they are visible ont he surface, they catch the sun's rays, formign an incredible light show.
