In June 2367 (ES), the Ark Ship Arthur appeared in New Iowa space, engaged an destroyed the Russian Second Extrasolar Fleet and the UIS defence fleet, and commenced a full-scale invasion of the planet.

Hurried redeployment by all major powers of extrasolar forces saw a military stalemate between the Arthurians and the intersolar powers. Efforts to arrange a diplomatic solution foundered, and the crisis ended with the deployment of a weapon of terrible power which obliterated the Russian Third Extrasolar Fleet and UIS 2nd Extrasolar barttle group in a single blast.

Last reports had the Arthur limping out of the system for an unknown destination.
