History
When the system was renamed 'Griffin' by NASA to bring it into line with the 'Hydra' system, it set the general rule that all further systems that were considered life-supporting were to be named after mythological figures.

Aquila
A small planet rendered uninhabitable by its proximity to Griffin. Contains a number of curious blue mineral deposits of unknown origin. Where they are visible on the surface, they catch the sun's rays, forming an incredible light show.
