The Socialist Party of Gevon is one of the major parties of the Democratic Socialist States of Gevon with over 1.3 billion supporters. The SPG's leader, Sarah Clark is an avocate for the average citizens' civil liberties and a leader in the social front for nationwide equality in standards. Clark is the mayor of Petersburg, the headquarters where her party coordinates its work and policy. With the close relationship between her supporters and herself, Petersburg has transformed itself from a contemporay slum to a major city on the rise.
The Socialist Party is adament on left-wing socioeconomic reform including nationwide healthcare and the nationalization of core state indutries. The party is also a supporter of civil rights. Clark and her loyal representives in the National Assembly will push the Nationalist majority to support sweaping civil liberty reforms to diminish possible aggressive or harsh crime-reducation or enforcement policy. The SPG does not accept war as a way to solve disputes and would rather use the finess of diplomacy in order to avoid conflict. They believe that socialism will spread throughout the world through education and hard determination through influence and example.
