Summary
W.I.T.C.H. is a story about five girls named Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin. These five girls go from ordinary humans leading ordinary lives, to having the powers over energy, water, fire, earth and air. Their friend, Elyon, was also leading an ordinary life until she met Cedric, an evil snake-like man from Meridian. Cedric is Phobos' right-hand man and is always causing trouble with the Guardians of the Veil (Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin). Phobos is the evil ruler of Meridian, and Elyon's older brother. He is not mentioned much in the books until book seven, where he is seen for the first time, while in the shows, he is first seen in the first episode.
