Point Zero

Point Zero is the unofficial name for the point at which the equator and the Prime Meridian intersect (0° latitude 0° longitude). Point Zero has no real significance but it is in the Atlantic Ocean, about 380 miles (611 kilometers) south of Ghana and 670 miles (1078 km) west of Gabon.

Point Zero was discovered shortly after the lines of longitude and latitude were invented in 2086.

Some people think that there is hidden treasure below point zero. Some people think that it may be The Lost City of Atlantis. However, people are too lazy to go and look. Therefore these rumors are not confirmed. The Mythbusters episode on The Lost City of Atlantis failed to mention Point Zero, so that means nothing.
