This commercial was used in 2007 when the Chevrolet Silverado was the Motor Trend Truck of the Year. The commercial used the John Mellencamp song Our Country.

Chevrolet is American. Americans take pride in their country and things from their country. Many Chevrolet models are built outside the United States and even more are re-badged foreign cars, particularly Izuzus. (Ex. Aveo and Canyon/Colorado)

Recently, Chevrolet started bragging that Chevrolet is the "official vehicle of the Canadian Olympic team." Specifically, the Chevrolet Equinox which has a new trim level called the Team Canada Edition. Odd for an American Revolution to sponsor a Canadian Olympic team. Would the Queen of England sponsor a Japanese beer drinking team?
