Talk:Christmas

From Wikireligion

Unless it becomes really long, it should be in the Christianity article like I did with Hannukah for Jew. ForestH2 08:10, 17 February 2007 (EST)

That's a dumb idea. Christian holidays deserve their own articles (unless you want 100 different ones listed in the Christianity article). Similarly, Hannakuh should have its own article too. Qwerty 21:22, 17 February 2007 (EST)
Agreed. I mean this is wikireligion isn't it? You guys are making progress. --Abby Italia 23:21, 17 February 2007 (EST)
But these are probably the most notable ones. And besides, the Hannukah article, I think is shorter but this isn't much longer. I thought I put it in the Jew article but it appears you took it out. ForestH2 23:50, 17 February 2007 (EST)
Perhaps I did (I can't tell because you deleted all the history for Jew - put it back!). I likely moved it to its own article because having a large section on a particular holiday isn't appropriate for an article describing the religion. You see, the beauty of the World Wide Web and wikis is that you can have separate articles on topics and have them linked together. Cool, huh? Qwerty 09:55, 18 February 2007 (EST)
I agree but I am convinced that that article doesn't have enough content on it. Maybe something like Jewish Holidays, where we could talk about all the holidays, perhaps. ForestH2 10:19, 18 February 2007 (EST)
There is nothing inherently wrong with having stubs. That's how things get started. You are a deletionist, aren't you. This place is a joke. Qwerty 10:50, 18 February 2007 (EST)
It's my preference, opinon. If you think this place is a joke then why are you still here? I am suprised that you aren't a person who can take in opinons. I am not a deletionist. What articles have I deleted? By the way, are you active at AMR? ForestH2 11:45, 18 February 2007 (EST)
On any project I've seen you at, you delete pages you don't like, redirects, policy pages, etc. You have a long history of deleting rather than reverting and discussing. And no, I'm not active at AMR - I thought was dumped long ago like most of the wikis you and Sir James have started. Qwerty 11:53, 18 February 2007 (EST)
I never said I don't like policy pages. You don't know what you are talking about. ForestH2 12:12, 18 February 2007 (EST)
