Ann Pertchin

Ann is the high General of the army of Gal-Zabor. Her aggressive defense and courage to join the troops on the front makes her one of the more aggressive characters of the war.

Appearance

Ann is 5'11 with green eyes and long, blonde hair. Formerly human, she was turned into what looks to be a catkin by means few know and fewer still believe. Ann has stripes that cover her legs, tail, back, and part of her face, lighter colored fur covers from her mouth to the inside of her thighs, spanning most of her front torso, save a oval of white fur that covers the front of her abdomen. Her hands are paw-like, large retractable claws on the tips of her fingers, and a very broad tail, making her unique compared to most catkin. Ann is rarely seen out of her Gal-Zabor Military uniform and has only been seen otherwise in a towel.

Early life

Ann's past is shrouded, and she never speaks it to anyone save the most trusted. To everyone else she keeps her lips tight, and sometiems even goes out of the way to make sure it stays a secret. She appeared in the Gal-Zabor military when she was sixteen.

Military life

Ann has worked her way from the bottom to the top thought sheer blood, sweat, and tears. Enduring boot camp with a chauvinist drill sergeant, Ann proved to be an aggressive soldier, always putting pressure on the enemy. By the time she was 21, she was a captian, and through determination, she was promoted to general a few days after her 23rd birthday. Being the only General in the Gal-Zabor army since the first war with the catkin, she was immeidately promoted to a four star general and placed in First Citizen Kraggi's cabinet as head of military operations.

Skills and Abilities

Ann is skilled with almost all pistol class weapons, and exeptionaly so in her weapons of choice, old-style revolving magnums. Ann is also trained in use or rifles and sniper rifles, and has the ability to raise the dead. She has an uncanny ability of surviving in a battlefield without cowering away, using her environment to gain an edge on most opponents and using the undead she raises more of a dynamic utility than a support unit. Note: There are some speculations that Ann is inept at yogamancy, the national magic of Gal-Zabor.

Other notes

Ann holds Gal-Zabor in high light, being both extremely loyal and protective of the country itself and the first citizen, Kraggi. With that said, Ann doesn't seem to hold much interest in the religious side of Gal-Zabor, ignoring the services and events dedicated to Gal-Zabor's god, Sanje. Other than her strong military background, there is no evidence of Ann's existance prior to her joining the military when she was 16. Even with such an irregularity, no one carries suspiscions about her actions and even the first citizen himself seems to hold a soft spot for her.

  • Ann is still getting used to her new catkin form, and currently finds it more of a disadvantage due to her inexperience with it's abilities.
  • Another connection between Ann and First citizen Kraggi has been found in character, but not publically.
  • Ann has apparently gained another magic ability when she went to the temple of Sanje.
