Vorarephilia, or vore, is a fetish based around a person becoming aroused by either watching or participating in the act of one being eating another. Vorarephilia comes from the latin word vorare, meaning to "swallow" or "devour", and the Greek word philia, meaning "love". Vore is, for the most part, strictly fantasy, only showing up in artistic works and writings. Vore can be split into two main branches, soft vore and hard vore, though these two branch off into almost infinite more subjects including (but not limited to) breast vore, cock vore, vaginal vore (more commonly referred to as unbirthing), and many more types. As for the psychology of vore, most consider it a for of submission and dominance. The prey usually playing a submissive role and the pred (predator) usually playing the dominant role. The process of vore may or may not include digestion and may or may not be fatal.
