- Are You With Me? was released on MCA Records in 1996 as Cowboy Mouth's first major label album.
- The album was the first Cowboy Mouth album with bassist Rob Savoy.
- Are You With Me? featured mostly songs performed on other albums, with only a few new songs. However, it was still one of Cowboy Mouth's best-selling records.
- In Louisiana Music author Rick Koster described Are You With Me? as Cowboy Mouth's greatest hits album.
- Often abbreviated as AYWM
