A stub is a short or totally blank article or section which is designed to hold the place of actual information. On Vaporstory, users who know that an article or section is necessary may create the article or section and place the "stub" template in it, encouraging other users to add to it. Once sufficient content has been added, the stub template may be removed.

To add a stub template to a page that needs it, put {{Stub}} into the article at the bottom of the page. For an individual section, use {{Stubsection}}. For lists of stubs on Vaporstory, see Category:Stub and Category:Articles with stub sections.
