Vaporstory is an encyclopedia about a fictional world from the minds of its contributors. The world is not based on anything from within fiction or film, so you can just let your imagination run wild. Please do try to fit in with current articles, but otherwise you can write almost whatever you want.

Please don't allow yourself to become bogged down with facts; these tend to be more boring to read, so try to be descriptive about how something looks, sounds, feels and smells like. Remember that nobody has ever been to the place you're describing, so you have to be as detailed as possible. Also, include pictures wherever possible: for example, when talking about mountains, show a dramatic picture of Mt. Everest. Obviously, pictures do prevent a problem when talking about a fictional world, so just try to use a similar picture of something in real life.
