Utwiki:Manual of Style

From '''UTWiki''', the [[The Unknown Turaga Saga|Unknown Turaga]] Wiki.

When creating a new page on UTWiki, it is important to stick to a set style, depending on what it is. This page is intended to demonstrate that.

For Characters

The best current example of a character page is that of Dlakii. You can see how it is clearly set out. This will now be explained.

  • History - This segment is basically a biography. Look through the character's comic appearances and write down what happens.
    • Remember to break it into sections in accordance with different forms of the character - for instance, Dlakii's history segment is broken down into As a Matoran, As a Toa, and As a Turaga. Variant forms - such as Dreiken's two Toa forms - can be broken down like this as well.
  • Equipment - Mention any weapons (and Kanohi Masks, if applicable) used in any of the three forms, breaking usage of each form into different paragraphs, as seen on the Dlakii page. Be sure to link to each weapon's individual page, to provide more detail about each.
  • Powers and Traits - List all powers posessed used by that character (not counting mask powers), as well as any unique quirks held by that character.
  • Personality - Give a relatively thorough profile of the character's personality, and how it may have varied or changed over time.
  • Character origin - If applicable, mention where the inspiration for the character may have come from, or any real people who the character is based on. A good example would be mentioning BZPower members who opted to Guest Star in that comic.
  • Trivia - If applicable, list any unique or strange facts known about that character.
  • Category - Categorise the page into the Characters category, for convenience.
