Water

Water is the cheapest trade good in The Universal's Andromeda Galaxy. It can be assumed to be shipped and traded in liquid form or highly compressed vapor kept at a temperature that would allow it to be shipped more economically.
Water normally sells for under 1.0 credits per ton, but can go as high as 10.0 or more. It is the cheapest trade good that changes hands on space stations, and thus usually becomes a new cargo captain's first cargo.
