Double run

A double run is a trade route that involves three star systems. It begins, usually, in a core system such as Cirrus Minor or Tau Ceti with a trade good that fetches a good price on a planet in a middle system. On the middle system planet, another good is available that will fetch a high price further out in the galaxy.

Nominally, the middle system planet will also sell Uridium, that will fuel the cargo ship for it's outward push to the third, presumably more distant, system.

An example of a middle system planet would be Unknown 430 in orbit around M-143, which purchases construction materials at a good price and also sells narcotics at a price that would fetch a high profit in other star systems.
