Band of the Hand The Band of the Hand was formed in Aug 2008 by Jubal Harshaw aka BLACKHAT, a former member of Space Raiders. Based on the old Earth concept of the ronin (warriors with out a master), The Band of the Hand is a group of loosly organised mercenarys with no observable leadership structure. It's numbers are unknown as it's members are so secretive they don't even register on the faction lists. As with any mercenarys the "Band" has no alliances with any other faction, and only offer their services to the highest bidders. The membership is well known for their moral "flexabilty" fighting for one faction in one battle and against it in the next. The "Band"'s memebership is also known for honoring any made contract to the letter, never any more or less. When striking a contract with it's membership all players know to to carefull with the stated terms as the "Band" is known for turning the contract on it's ear just for their amusment, however never breaking the contract. The members of the Band of the Hand are easyly identified by the "Bloody Hand" next to their name in space.
