Jupiter (religious god)

From Ultipedia

Jupiter is a roman and greek god, Jupiter's greek equivalent is called Zeus and in anceint roman religion he is the husband and brother of the goddess Juno. He is also, in addition to being the king of gods in anceint roman religion, the god of thunder and lightning. The inspiration for this roman god came from the planet jupiter and was most likely named because of astronomy being so popular at the time and probably was what spurred off the knack of roman gods and goddesses being named after the local planets of the milky way.
