Robert Edgington in "The Angry Mountain". Adventures with the five children of different nationalities marooned on a group of uncharted islands after a shipwreck. They have discovered the islands' inhabitants, the "Q" people, are still living in the 18th Century, with no knowledge of the modern outside world.

Erik Estrada, Larry Wilcox in "Satan's Angels". A motorcycle gang turns a desert outing into a crime spree when its members kidnap a female officer from the Californian Highway Patrol and demand a ransom for her safe release.

by Vince Powell. Barry Evans in "Brief Re-Encounter". The return after 25 years of an old admirer of the principal, Miss Courtney, sweeps the frosty lady off her feet. But Brown finds he is the one who has to pick up the pieces.
19.05 Russ Abbot's Saturday Madhouse 
with Dustin Gee, Patti Gold, Michael Barrymore, Susie Blake, Jeffrey Holland, Bella Emberg. Cliff Richard, Elton John, Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra and Adam and the Ants will not be appearing in tonight's show. However there are the Supreme Three Degrees Under and British supergroup Vince Prince and the Tone Deafs plus the Jimmies, Geronimo and all the usual favourites.

Following the deaths of two blind girls, in mysterious circumstances, Inspector Casati takes a close interest in Mary-Anne's case.

Annette Crosbie in "Credits and Distinctions", by Alma Cullen. Another play in this series about life in a house in Glasgow. It is now the 1930's. Maisie Gifford, a successful clothes' designer, find that the upper classes close in upon her when she accuses her daughter's school of negligence.

Sam Groom in "Web of Guilt". Dr. Simon Locke steps in when a woman judge endangers herself by becoming too protective of her brother, who is accused of murder.

"Sit Up and Listen" with Peregrine Worsthorne who ends the day's programmes now, and again tomorrow, with a poem. Tonight he reads "To His Sweetest Child" by Sir Thomas More.
