Vorovoro island kit list

When traveling to Vorovoro there are items that you would not think of bringing that really are necessary. This is a list that is generated by Tribewanted members who have already traveled to the island.

Island Kit List

• Mosquito Net
• First AID Items such as: Tape, Neosporin, and Bandaids. Even if you are always wearing sandals you will get cuts and mostly on your feet.
• Socks: These are essential when you do end up with open wounds on your feet because on Vorovoro it is impossible to keep your feet clean. Your best option is to bring dark colored socks because you will only ruin your white ones.
• Tampons: I will not go into too much detail, but in Fiji they do not have the same tampons as we are use to and you will start your menstrual cycle within the first few days you get there if your body is not use to the environment in the South Pacific.
• Baby Wipes: I found these very useful while I was there because it is impossible to stay clean. Within the first five minutes of stepping out of the shower you will look the same as you did before you got in. The wipes help out in-between showers.
• Snorkel Gear: Vorovoro is located on third largest reef in the world...need I say more?
• Sturdy Sandals: The coral is sharp and you cannot avoid it. Flip-Flops really do not do the trick when it comes to protecting your feet.
