From Tribewanted

Wednesday 3rd May Tribewanted in Oz

The tribewanted team has had a busy week in London which comprised of development meetings (getting things moving in Fiji now we have a start date!), our first tribal gathering and a number of radio and magazine interviews. We also had a chance to sit back and be amazed at the positive emails, 'phone calls and interest coming in from around the world. It is fantastic that so many people believe in tribewanted as a never-been-done-before global social experiment. The tribe member places are starting to speed up and we are about to see this explode judging by the media interviews we have set up around the world in the next few weeks (most of which we are not allowed to tell you about yet!) Here's what we can tell you:

The tribewanted Oz tour can you host us?

Yes its back to the old skool as the tribewanted team will shortly be traveling up the East coast of Australia in a classic retro tribewanted-decorated VW camper. The summer has officially started! We are eager to hit the road and mix with the people and media who are>interested in all things tribewanted. So we have made a crazy decision to get out there and start spreading the tribewanted word!

Mark James (aka Chief Marika) and tribal member 171, and current Shipwrecked star John Melvin, have taken the plunge pimp-my-tribewanted-ride-campervan style and head down-under.

The tribewanted Oz tour will take the following route:

  • Thursday 11th: Sydney
  • Friday 12th: Syndey
  • Saturday 13th Barrington
  • Sunday 14th: Surf Camp
  • Monday 15th: Byron Bay
  • Tuesday 16th: Brisbane
  • Wednesday 17th: Brisbane

  • Wednesday 24th: Mission Beach
  • Thursday 25th: Cairns

We will be being interviewed on tv, radio programmes, visting hostels, beaches, camps and meeting aussies and travelers as we go, encouraging them to become 1 of 5,000.

As we want to meet as many people as possible we are keen to stay with some typical Ozzie's. Can you house one of the Chief's and tribe member as the tribewanted campervan heads up the East Coast? If so, e-mail us ASAP on (deleted).

We will be running a special tribewanted in Oz blog with pictures and podcasts as we hit the road!
