Podcasts from the heart of Vorovoro

The team over in Fiji have been putting together some excellent podcasts to inform us of all developments and updates on the island. Here is the latest:

Dan, Becky and the children of Mali http://community.tribewanted.com/downloads/global/Podcasts/School.mp3

This podcast really captures the beauty of the children of Mali, hear them singing and hear a presentation of books that we have given to the children as it has been requested that tribe members bring a book each, as a gift, to help build the children's library.

An interview with Maleli Naiova - tribewanted's environmental consultant http://community.tribewanted.com/downloads/global/Podcasts/Interview%20with%20Maleli%20Naiova.mp3

We have recently had Maleli Naiova - tribewanted's environmental consultant on the island conducting the Environmental Impact Assessment on vorovoro. We managed to grab an interview with him in order to keep you updated.

Thoughts by the sea http://community.tribewanted.com/downloads/global/Podcasts/Thoughts%20by%20the%20sea.mp3

Dan and Becky, sitting by the sea sharing the events over the past few days. Dan and Becky give an incredible insight to the Fijian culture and the preperation that is taking place for the first footers arrival to the island.

Tribal developments:

Tribewanted is a unique concept that brings people together online in order to develop a 200 acre island in Fiji, positively impacting the environment, culture and people of Fiji and Mali. Tribe members are coming up with unique and exciting ideas that would enable this positive development, one recent suggestion includes a 'penpal' scheme between children who will be visiting the island and the children of Mali. This is an exciting idea that would really enable children to understand worlds that are bigger and different than their own.

And finally, the people of Fiji are continually getting excited about tribewanted, the benefits that this will bring to their people and the raising of the profile of their unique culture around the world. We were excited to see that the Prime Minster of Fiji even spoke about tribewanted on Fiji TV.
