With the reseting of wikihood at the back, much of the plot was destroyed. However, Ekul is mostly the same.
Ekul is a phoenix penguin. This means that when he dies he reforms as a new body. Ekul is apparently a part of a society of genetically enhanced birds along with Nived before he was exiled. During his deaths, his personality changes depending on the amount of times he dies. There are a few others birds like him including his sidekick Kyves. He can alter the temperature to an extreme. He can also fuse this ability with Strong Sader's abilities.

Nived is similar to Ekul in that he is in a society of genetically enhanced birds. However, he and Ekul appear to be rivals.He has gravitational powers instead of heat.

Ekul debuted in episode 10. He eventually left to chase the LoE. He returned to the system eventually when the simulation and real world were fused. After attempting to foil a virus from the LoE. His real world form was exposed, however, while he was standing next to a temporal reactor. Ekul disappears. He is revealed to have been sent back in time. Time itself is reset and he manages to get back to the future.

When Ekul tried to escape the White Zone without anyone knowing where he went, he programmed a replica of himself into the code. However, while it looked and acted correctly on its own, it went haywire while talking to Homestar due to its lack of sentience. It was recovered by The Cheat and reprogrammed by a Blue Laser Troop. It was then taken over by a mysterious person, who swore allegiance to the LoE. When the sattelite blew and such, he landed with Moderator files. He has created the Corruption drive and the Contamination Virus. The former can convert programs and people to the LoE and the latter can apparently take over machines and reconstruct them

Ekul is really a regular penguin with stronger abilities than seen in the simulation. The reasons for this is currently unknown. Though not stated in the actual thing, he has brown hair which is certainly out of place for a penguin. When he fused with Strong Bad and Homestar, strange things started happening. Due to the effects on his body and mind, Chwoka plugged him back in only to cause corruption of Ekul himself. To avoid giving into his evilness, he gave up his sanity and seriousness.

Presumably he has gravity powers in real life. He has whitish blue hair.
