Rash Metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music, one of the extreme metal subgenres that is characterised by high speed riffing and satanic lyrics, as well as many black and power metal influences. Term was first used by Pete McPain of The Coarse Smell of Burning Decayed Flesh.
