Speedball used to be a fun character with a bouncing cat named Niels. Then Marvel thought: "Hey kids today love all that Chemical Romance stuff, I bet they'd love it if we made Speedball a whiny brooding mess for some contrived and fairly illogical reason"

Hey, look how that turned out. It seems that with Doc Samson's therapy Speedball might be going back to his old self.
