Cool

Cool! Hey, remember to sign off your comments with four tildes (~~~~). That will automatically produce your user name and the date. Thanks! --Shaun the Ripper 19:58, 2 September 2006 (EDT) +

Yes, it was sarcasm

Yeah, of course - everybody knows my real age, but they refuse to believe me. I'm kind of confused on the image thing at the upper left corner - do you think you can do that for me? --Shaun the Ripper 18:58, 4 September 2006 (EDT)

I can't see it.

Re:We Need

Okay...well, why did you ask me? You're a Stripespedian, right? You can make pages for the B-Sides...anyone can edit Stripespedia. I'll help. --Shaun the Ripper 16:57, 12 September 2006 (EDT)

Congrats - You passed the sysop test.

You have been a great Stripespedian ever since you joined - creating the Stripespedia logo, coming up with ideas, creating new articles. So far, you are one of the only Stripespedians (beside me) who has contributed anything to Stripespedia.

So congratulations, I have given you administrator rights. Celebrate. --Shaun the Ripper 17:33, 14 September 2006 (EDT)

Admin options/Talk page

Ahh...I have a lot of things to explain.

But first, let me remind you that you can not delete any comments off your talk page - the same rule applies at Wikipedia. Second, I quit the blog a while ago...I kept a little blog of recent happenings and things like that with the Stripes and the Racs, but then I later turned that into "Dead Leaves and the Dirty News", and replaced the blog with featured Stripes pics on the main page.

And finally, what you can do as an administrator. You have the ability to : ban vandals who are vandalizing Stripespedia; delete pages that are completely stupid and dumb or do not have correct spelling (ex: de Stijl, whitee blod cells, candyCane children); protect pages so only Stripespedia admins can edit them, and many other things.

And I just came back from a Raconteurs concert in Grand Prairie, Texas and it was incredible!!!! --Shaun the Ripper 00:30, 16 September 2006 (EDT)

Wow!

Wow! 79 articles? It seems like only yesterday it was 62 articles. You've done a fantastic job with Stripespedia. You're a fantastic Stripespedian.

We have a problem though. We only have about four users. So I was wondering if you could maybe advertise or promote or something....something that will attract people to Stripespedia. We need a lot of great Stripespedians to make one great Stripespedia! --Shaun the Ripper 18:34, 19 September 2006 (EDT)

I think I just figured out the way to make Stripespedia a better site! Do you think you can download any good version of MediaWiki? MediaWiki is the same thing that runs Wikipedia, and I think Stripespedia could sure use something like Wikipedia! Please answer as soon as possible. Thanks! --Shaun the Ripper 21:06, 19 September 2006 (EDT)
Yeah...you're right. I actually asked you because it wouldn't download on my computer - my computer is really old and slow... But, you're right, I think editthis.info is pretty good. It would be cool for me to log in to en.stripespedia.org, though! --Shaun the Ripper 16:50, 20 September 2006 (EDT)

Well

Well, I have a Yahoo! Messenger name - sjg.musicgenius. --Shaun the Ripper 20:41, 24 September 2006 (EDT)

To close off editing to guests would be a good idea, but I kind of think that a lot of people don't like to go through the whole registration process, and if we close it off, then most likely, less people will edit the wiki and improve it. If you feel that this idea is a good idea, however, then feel free to try it out. I will get the GBMS essay up here as soon as possible. Also, if you can, talk to the LR moderators about putting the wiki on the Important Topics section of General Discussion, or anything like that. That would surely help the wiki. Thanks. --Shaun the Ripper 23:03, 3 June 2007 (EDT)

Promotion

Since you aren't banned from the forum, it's up to you to promote as much as you want. I have a good feeling they won't un-ban me or anything like that. --Shaun the Ripper 16:42, 18 June 2007 (EDT)
