Redgully

Redgully is a representative of Academy Alchemi in Kadish. He claims the title of famulus to the Academy, a sort of servant or attendant. He is pleased to offer business cards, an unusual custom in the Realm, advertising his association with the Academy and the services he offers as an alchemist and instructor. Redgully has an exceptionally obsequious manner, oily and overly familiar. He also has a habit of speaking to himself rather than those around him, and he rarely looks anyone in the eye. These factors combine to make him seem devious and untrustworthy. Conversing with him is an uncomfortable task at best. Redgully may in fact be a sincere man, but if so, it is difficult to discern through his poor social habits.

Description

Redgully dresses mostly in black, in what one might consider a Western "dandy" style unusual in Kadish. He wears a broach depicting the symbol of the Academy Alchemi. He is slight of frame and seems habitually to be in a slouch – not quite a cower, just not upright. Uncomfortable with direct eye contact, he tends to cast his eyes about his surroundings or look down at his hands rather than look at any other people.
