Welcome to the Requests page. This is a page for which combines many policies such as deletion, blocking etc. This is also a page for requesting an administration action.

[edit] Administrators
Administrators are editors with extra editing functions such as blocks and deletion. Administration powers are given out to outstanding users who make a request. Admins have equal powers to Wikipedia admins, so we suggest you read the Wikipedia admin's page. Before making a request for adminship (or RfA), users must have at least 500 edits. You are also advised to become a member of a rights wiki such as wikirights.scribblewiki.com, to test out the extra functions.
[edit] Requesting Adminship
To request adminship:
- Add a new section by editing Current Requests,
- For the title (new level 2 header), put your username (colon) RfA. For example: Example: RfA or Example: Adminship Request
- This is now a chance to put your case forward. In the comment box use the below template.
{{subst:RfA |1=YOUR USERNAME |editcount=YOUR EDIT COUNT |reason=SHORT REASON }}
[edit] Requesting Bureaucratship
Bureaucrats are users with special extra rights, including user rights managment. There is a high criteria for bureaurcratship, including at least 3 months service as an admin. Founding Members (Jessicameek; PeterSymonds) have an automatic successful RfB. To add a RfB:
- Add a new section by editing the Current Requests section,
- For the title (new level 2 header), put your username (colon) RfB. For example: Example: RfB
- This is now a chance to put your case forward. In the comment box use the below template.
{{subst:RfA |1=YOUR USERNAME |editcount=YOUR EDIT COUNT |reason=SHORT REASON }}
Yes we know, this is the RfA template, but it serves the same purpose. This saves server space.
[edit] Other Policies
[edit] Blocking
Blocking is a form of extent warning to users. IPs or Accounts can be blocked. To suggest blocking:
- Edit Current Requests,
- Start a new section (new level 2 headline), with: <UserToBeBelocked>: Report by <YourUsername>. For example: MrVandal: Report By MrsUser (or MrsVandal: Report by MrUser).
- Explain why. And Sign.
