Appearance
Kokorin looks cute, small and fresh. Upon meeting her, people usually think she is much younger than she actually is. Her hair is kept long, dark brown and with straight bangs. She has a nicely proportioned petite built and has often been the subject of her mother's fashion creations (which led, later on, to her modeling career). Kumiko likes to dress in her favourite colors and often has a very cute style, yet simple. She wears little makeup and although wears bikinis as a profession, doesn't like to show too much skin in her everyday life.
History
Kumiko is very much the prodigy child in her family. She's the product of a fashion designer (mother, Shiba Honoka) and a minister of international affairs (father, Shiba Satoshi). Being the single child of the family, Kumiko was raised with a lot of love, attention and care. Very young, she was taken to travel the world with her parents and picked up many languages in the process. Her father's profession developed an interest in her for charity work in other countries and she's organized humanitarian trips at schools to Cuba, Haiti and India. Until the age of eleven, Kokorin has been home-schooled with the best professors and has dedicated her time to her education. To this day, she still enjoys taking ballet classes, music classes and swimming. She began modeling for her mother's line when she was nine and decided to take her modeling career in hand when she turned fifteen (mostly swim wear modeling which would let her travel to remote tropical places). With the money earned herself, Kumiko decided to attend Second Heaven and challenge her intellect as well as enjoy the social life she didn't really have as a child. Her parents are proud of her and encourage the decisions she makes in life.
Personality
Never shy is what best describes Kumiko. She often says what is on her mind, no matter how intellectual or not it may be. She is somewhat of a klutz and seems acts like an airhead, but Kokorin has a very smart mind and often surprises people with her strong intellect (mostly academically). She enjoys being social and meeting new people, thus is often seen helping various clubs with activities. Although very much like a princess (which is one of her bad qualities), Kumiko doesn't like to take the term literal and often jokes about being the princess of apples. She's a bit lazy when it comes to keeping her own things tidy and is very hard-headed. Eccentric, peppy, sweet and goofy, Kokorin wears her heart on her sleeves.

Why Second Heaven?
She wanted to graduate from a prestigious high school that would challenge her, make her parents proud and also just to have fun with other people (since she's been home schooled for a long time)
