General Appearance: Of average height and fairly slender build, Aelis possesses an average frame roped with lean muscle, thanks to an active lifestyle. Her hazel eyes are set above a long, straight nose, and she seems to have trouble keeping her mussed, pale blonde locks from falling across her narrow face. She keeps her hair long, with the front of it pinned back in a vain attempt to keep it out of her eyes. As a result, it is also pulled away from her slender, tapered ears. The rest falls straight down to the middle of her back, with several slender braids interspersed throughout. She keeps her attire fairly light and simple, and favors blue clothing, though she will coordinate the color of her clothing with her environment when she’s out hunting in order to help camouflage herself.
Personality: Bright, carefree, and happy-go-lucky – Aelis can certainly be serious when it is necessary, but she does not see the point in dwelling on anything negative. Doing so only drags you down – and what’s the point in living if you’re not enjoying life? Enjoying life is something she does to the fullest. Aelis is also known for being on the silly side (as well as a little clumsy on occasion). She revels in playful mischief and has a fondness for mock drama and theatrics.
She is a free spirit, friendly and tomboyish and generally very easy to get along with. This is not to be mistaken as her being overly naïve. While she gets along well with most people she meets, she is an excellent judge of character and knows where to place her trust. Once you have gained her trust and friendship, however, it would take a great deal to lose it. She is extremely loyal and holds on tightly to those she cares about – she does not give up on anything easily, least of all her friendships.

Parents: Telutan and Nosennis Laurebough (father and mother, respectively).
Financial: Reasonably well-off. The Laureboughs are not rich, by any stretch of the imagination, but they have always lived very comfortably. Telutan is a bodyguard for hire by profession, and does a lot of hunting in his spare time (a hobby most of his children have also taken a shine to). Nosennis runs a successful inn called The Golden Thistle.
Reputation: Rather mundane repute, though people who know Aelis’ father will generally give her a nod of respect. Telutan is very well-respected in several mercenary circles.
Religion: As the Laureboughs are largely a family of carefree adventurers, they have favored Ragnae as their patron deity for generations.
Education: Nothing formal. Along with her siblings, Aelis was educated at home by both of her parents, who are both great fans of learning. Aelis is well-read and could have gone on to pursue a higher education, but she chose not to. Profession-wise, her father taught her everything he knows about hunting and combat, and her keen interest in both has lured her into the lifestyle of a mercenary, just like her father and brothers. She learned rudimentary combat skills as an adolescent, and has since become a master of archery. She can also handle a sword in a pinch; though she much prefers daggers should her bow fail her.
Employment: Still very young, Aelis has only just begun to get her feet wet. She has gone on a few low-risk jobs, and though her father and oldest brother have both offered to recommend her to clients, she is more interested in getting hired because of her own merits. Because of her youth she is still slightly green, but she is very eager to learn by experience.
Noteworthy History
Nothing of note just yet. Her life has been peaceful and fairly uneventful, having grown up healthy in a happy, loving home. She is just starting to truly stand on her own two feet now, having stayed close to home in the past in order to assist her mother and sister with the family business. Now she is finally following her own interests, and her father’s footsteps.

Siblings: Vanye, sister (165 years old); Aran and Failon, brothers (twins, 154 years old). Vanye helps Nosennis run the family inn, and Aran and Failon have been working as mercenaries alongside Telutan for years now.
Friends: Not many who are close enough to mention. She has been friends with an elf named Callisto Fadio for years, as they grew up together, though they are not as close as they once were. Aelis counts her brother, Failon, and his friends Halin and Eruner as her closest and best friends – she has always been a bit of a tomboy and gets along better with men than with women.
Romantic: She is engaged to longtime friend, love and fellow mercenary Eruner Valleron, though they have yet to set a date.
