Peylix Omega is a character created for [relativespace]. He is played by Hibiki and PBed by Toby Stephens. Doctor Who belongs to the BBC, and Toby belongs to himself.

Peylix Omega, Time Lord Supreme

Personality

Egotistical sarcastic son of a bitch who is seriously BETTER THAN YOU. I mean seriously, he invented time travel, if it wasn't for him the Time Lords would not exist. He was one of the Triumverate and you should respect him, if not worship him for that.

Omega has a tendancy to look down on everyone. Seeing as he was practically worshipped on Gallifrey, and was part of the group that ran it, he has become rather full of himself and is still getting used to the fact that he is a) on Earth, and b) having to fend for himself. In his time, Earth was a planet of prehistoric apes that meant very little unless you wanted a good laugh. that's the outwards appearence anyway. Inside he's a mess. He's half in awe and half very very pissed off and twisted. having been in a black hole for two thousand years, he's getting used to everyday things- the sun, the sky, trees (though they don't taste very nice), food, the basics.

However, the anger is a problem but is only directed at Rassilon and Gallifrey. He believes he was "pushed" by Rassilon, which is reason one for his anger. The second reason is a bit more substantial. Omega was in his Black Hole for two millenia- he's angry that no one came to get him, and that it seemed Gallifrey had just moved on without him, and that most of the things he had done had been "covered up" by Rassilon. All he'd gotten was a statue in the Prydonian Academy and the odd mention in a text book- even The Other had a holiday in his name (otherstide). So, screw you Gallifrey, Omega will fart in your faces.

History

Long ago when Gallifrey was just a wee little planet, it was ruled by women. Yes, women. For thousands of years the women- the Pythia, reigned supreme. It wasn't until a group of three young men rebelled against this and overthrew these women to run the planet in a fair way. However, it backfired. The women cursed the Gallifreyians- they would be sterile; the race would die out.

The three young men would come to be known as the Triumverate- Rassilon, The Other, and Omega. As a group of tight knit friends, they started developing Gallifrey into what it was before it's destruction- a place of technology, and of Time Lords. Omega was the one who realised how to make time travel possible. It would be hard to try out- they would need the nucleus of a black hole. With the help of Rassilon and the Other, he developed what came to be known as the "Hands of Omega". With them, Omega could fluctuate a star's waves. He also developed most of the spaceships used in "prehistoric" Gallifrey.

During this time, Rassilon invented the "looms," a DNA modifier that allowed not only extremely long life, but the ability to regenerate thirteen times. The Triumverate's power grew, and as it grew it went to Rassilon's head- he became an iron fist ruler. Omega and The Other became uneasy- moreso the Other. Then came the Qbapa mission. Qbapa was a star near to the planet, but not so that it would do damage when the Hand of Omega were used to destroy it, creating a black hole. Rassilon and Omega, along with a crew, went to the black hole, intent on retrieving the nucleus to use to harness it's power for time travel. This is where history gets fuzzy, most likely to hide conspiracies. It is said Omega simply fell, whilst others believe Rassilon pushed him, wanting to take all the glory. Either way, the outcome was the same- Omega was in the black hole, taken for dead. The Black Hole was renamed Omega's Black Star. The nucleus was taken to Gallifrey and locked in a mini dimension under the citadel, becomming known as "The Eye of Harmony", which is what powers all TARDIS's.

Rassilon became even more iron fisted, and also psychotic. Omega's Black Star was renamed to Rassilon's Black Star. The Other threw himself into the Looms to kill himself after seeing his granddaughter to safety. It is known that the Doctor is some strange reincarnation of the Other as the granddaughter- Susan, is with him in the first series and calls him "Grandfather".

Omega was not dead, he was surviving in the black hole through sheer will, no body, just spirit. He managed to try and get out once or twice, but nothing much came of it. If we were to follow canon, we would move onto the Arc of Infinity, during Fifth Doctor's reign. Omega managed to use a psychic imprint on the Doctor, alerting Gallifrey to his prescence. The orders were sent out to exterminate the Doctor and, long story short, Omega was running around in a Fifth Doctor outfit whilst being chased by the Fifth Doctor. He was finally shot down when it was revealed he was reverting back to Black matter and, when he did so, would take half the universe with him. However, this hasn't happened because I'm evil- the Twelve dash Seven call pulled him out :P

Grade Omega?

His birthname is Peylix. If you looked up his name in the Prydonian archives, you'd find very little. When the three were still at school, Peylix handed in a theory paper. The "Genfranies Theory of Temporal Aging" based on a theory created by a lesser species. The theory stated that time itself ages and becomes more curved. If one could control the oldest part of Time then one could control and map out all of history. He knew the eldest part of time was in the Sector of Forgotten Souls and belived that detonating a star in that sector would give the Gallifreyans control of History. His tutor was so offended at this that he was given the lowest grade possible; Omega.

Did You Know...?

• In canon it is said Rassilon and Omega were cousins.

• That The Other is said to be more powerful than Rassilon and Omega put together- it is even canonly rumoured that The Other is a reincarnation of the one who created the Gallifreyian Solar System.

• Omega was married to a woman named Patience and managed to have two children before the Curse.

• Co-invented the first Gallifreyian spaceships.

• Has his own emblem though it is not as widely known as the Seal of Rassilon.

• The Hand of Omega is a glove that has been mentionned-and even seen in Seven's Era- that has the power to destroy even stars- it is a Stellar Manipulator and will be the most powerful one for all of time. It is seen in Seventh's Era in a large box and has the power to move itself around and has a basic AI.

• Omega had NO PHYSICAL FORM in any appearence- he was simply pure will living in anti-matter.

• It is canonly rumoured that the Other had an affair with Omega's wife, Patience, though it isn't known whether Omega knew this or not.

• It is claimed that the Doctor is able to transcend death because ideas cannot die. This implies that the Doctor is conceptual entity. The Doctor exists in 3 forms: the Other, the Renegade, and Guardian of Justice and Morality. In every cycle the Universe goes through, the Doctor begins as the Other, becomes the Renegade, and eventually evolves into the Guardian of Justice and Morality.

• Omega originally objected to the violence of the Revolutions against the Pythia.

• A Fable about Peylix the Annoyingly Curious became popular. However nobody knew that Peylix was infact Omega. In the story Peylix wanted to know everything about everything. When he does learn everything about everything the whole universe stops and (in order to restart it) Peylix was exiled to another universe.

• It is FACT that Omega can eat his weight in cookies ( Made by The Master (Alt 5) who is obsessed with him ). Or icecream. Or potato chips. Or pizza..........
