Placebo2009/2.2/Number 375

Number 375 is a character introduced in "The Legendary", episode 2.2 of Placebo2009.

He is a worker in a weapons factory operated by the Nation-State of Aaag, a futuristic version of the present-day Aaag. He harbors a secret feeling that the Nation-State is bad, yet is unable to pinpoint exactly why. One fateful day, he recieves a Meme from two Conspirators who he refers to as the Others. He is unable to conceal this Meme from a Regulator squad that visits his apartment, and he is detained.

375 is a character who feels that something must be done, but realizes that he has no power to do anything. In the beginning of "The Legendary" he is prepared to give up his ideals to save himself, however near the end of the story he regains some of his resolve.

While in prison, the Regulator Number 100 attempts to turn him back to the side of Regulation. 375 is able to deduce, however, that 100 has an interest in him, and tries to use this to his advantage.
