Lord Crump

Lord Crump is an X-Naut and Grodus' right-hand man. Grodus sends him to retrieve the Crystal Stars from Mario on numerous occasions, but Lord Crump's incompetence and arrogance eventually leads to his downfall on the moon. Lord Crump is assigned to protect the seventh Crystal Star, but fails and dies along with all X-Nauts at the X-Naut base on the moon. He travelled with Mario, Flavio, and the crew to Keelhaul Key under the name "four eyes", and later revealed himself to the crew upon temporarily escaping aboard an X-Naut ship

Abilities

Lord Crump is the designer and builder of the powerful Magnus von Grapple and Magnus von Grapple 2.0, both of which are destroyed by Mario & his allies, at the Great Tree and later at the moon. When without these gadgets, he calls upon his fellow X-Nauts to assist him in battle.

Behind Thee Scenes

Lord Crump interacts with the player at one point on Keelhaul Key, noting that it's obvious who he is but adding "Don't tell Mario."
